Personalised WhatsApp Messages, Sent While You Sleep

The problem

A Malta-based business owner wanted every customer to get a personalised WhatsApp birthday message — without anyone checking dates or typing messages each morning. It had to run on a normal Windows PC, operated by a non-technical user, with no servers or subscriptions.

The build

We built a self-contained desktop app with a modern Fluent Design interface. The owner imports a CSV of names, numbers, and birth dates, writes a message template with name personalisation, and sets a daily send time. From there it’s hands-off.

A background worker checks for due birthdays on schedule and sends through WhatsApp Web via an automated browser with a persistent session — the QR code scan happens exactly once. Every send is recorded in a local database with a duplicate guard, so a mid-day restart never messages the same contact twice. Delivery history, logs, and rejected-row reports are all visible in the app, and configurable delays between messages keep sending natural.

Shipped as a single Windows executable — double-click to run, no Python, no setup.
